Turn By Turn Directions to AFI

*NOTE: These directions are for cars only. Trucks may be required to take an alternate route.

From Waverly & Points East:

Take Rt. 17 (I-86) West to traffic light @ Wellsburg/Lowman (about 5 mi after exit 59)
Turn left onto Co. Rt. 8 to Wellsburg. (about 1 mi)
Turn right onto Rt. 427.
Follow sign for Rt. 427 & turn left onto Cedar Street (about 4-1/2 mi)
Stay on Cedar Street & go straight across Rt. 14 (about 1-1/2 mi)
(You’ll be in a residential neighborhood after you cross Pennsylvania Avenue….ie Rte 14 at the Rite Aid Pharmacy )
At 3rd stop sign (about 1/2 mi) you’ll be at Broadway Street.
Cross Broadway & make an immediate left turn onto Chamberlain Street.
Batavia Street is your first left turn & AFI is the only building on the left side.   

From Corning & Points West:

Take Rt. 17 (I-86) East to Rt. 352 (Exit 48)
Follow Rt. 352 until it becomes Water Street (One-way street headed east)
Turn Right onto Walnut Street, about 2.3 mi (2nd traffic light) from split of Water Street & Church Street
Cross the river & stay on S. Walnut Street.  It will become Broadway.
Turn right onto Chamberlain Street (1 mi. from bridge over river)
Batavia Street is your first left turn & AFI is the only building on the left side.

From Syracuse, Watkins Glen,  or Ithaca & Points North:

Rte 81 S from Syracuse to Cortland…to Route 13…then follow directions from Route 13 South below……….
Take Rt. 14 (Watkins Glen)   or Rt. 13(Ithaca) south to Rt. 17 East
Take the Elmira - Church Street exit (Exit 56)
Take Church Street to Walnut Street (about 1-1/2 mi)
Turn left onto Walnut Street & cross the river.  (Approx 1 mile to Chamberlain St.)
3 traffic lights, then 4 more blocks
South Walnut  will become Broadway at Kountry Krullers (Donut Shop on left)
Turn right onto Chamberlain Street (4^th block)
Batavia Street is your first left turn & AFI is the only building on the left side.

From Troy, PA & Points South:

Take Rt. 14 North until it intersects with Rt. 328.
Go straight, you'll then be on Broadway.
Turn left onto Chamberlain Street (1 mi from Rt. 14/Rt. 328 intersection)
Batavia Street is your first left turn & AFI is the only building on the left side.
